SAFEGUARDING
Promoting a Safer Church
We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and vulnerable adults. We seek to ensure that our church is a welcoming and safe place for all who come through our doors.
We are members of the independent safeguarding specialist charity, Thirtyone:eight, and have adopted their safeguarding policy for use within our church, as well as strictly following all guidelines from our regulator, the government’s Charity Commission.
Practical Support & Contacts
If there is immediate risk or danger please contact the Police on 999
If you are concerned that someone you know is at risk of, or is being abused or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from a Church Safeguarding Officer and if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services (contacts and procedures can be found in our safeguarding policy).
