‘From Copper to Criminal to Christian’

An evening with Simon Pinchbeck

8pm 10 Sep 2018

Archbishop School, Croydon

Guest Speaker: Mark Fossey

Guest Speaker: Mark Fossey

Mark grew up in North London and became a Christian at 18 on a summer camp. He's been in full-time Christian ministry since 2002 working for a number of different churches in London. Mark studied at Oak Hill Theological College, then worked at Grace Church, Dulwich, before moving to Sutton to help start Hope Community Church in 2013. He's married to Lucy, with three young children. He is hugely passionate about London and Londoners, that they would see that following Jesus makes more sense than following the multiplicity of other ways which don't work and don't save.

After 23yrs in the Met Police, Simon left after receiving a 'not guilty' verdict on an assault charge. He then became obsessed with money & material things and was tempted into a life of awful crime. He was left the lowest he had ever been in his life - facing prison or death - but God threw him a lifeline in the shape of another very violent criminal that led to remarkable events...
